Since 2009 the Wessels Tournament is allied to Stichting Kika. This foundation tries to raise money to investigate cancer with children. We hope by doing this to contribute in the fight against cancer with children.

During the two day tournament will will ask the visitors to give money for this good cause. We chose this foundation, because the teams play for the Dave Boomgaars Cup and Dave was a youth player of RKZVC who died in 1992 at the age of 12 years from this terrible disease. Through this Cup, that was donated by his parents, we will never forget Dave.
